The OCCS mediates consumer complaints helping practitioners and patients to find a resolution and gives advice and guidance to consumers and practices. In listening to patients and practices, it is clear that customer care is that the heart of encouraging patients to successfully engage in eye care and makes business sense!

Many practices across the UK are doing a fantastic job, and the OCCS are thrilled to support an award that recognises a commitment to long term patient relationships that extends to successive generations and approaches the running of the practice with family values at its heart. As Judges we look forward to seeing how practices across the UK define “family values” and how this benefits their business, their colleagues and most importantly their patients.
